We’re Lisa and Darren, and together with our daughter Amelia, we’re the family behind Freeze Dried Sydney.

When we took over the business, it became more than just a new venture—it became a family adventure and an exciting new chapter for us. We feel incredibly lucky to continue a business that customers already know and love while adding our own ideas, passion and personality along the way.

Based in Sydney, we create a fun and exciting twist on some of Australia’s favourite treats. From classic lollies and crunchy fruit to our customer-favourite freeze-dried ice cream and desserts, every product is carefully prepared, checked and packed with quality and consistency in mind.

What makes freeze-dried treats so special? The freeze-drying process removes moisture while preserving flavour, transforming familiar favourites into light, crunchy treats with an intense burst of taste. We love experimenting with new products, discovering unexpected favourites and seeing the amazing transformations that happen inside our freeze dryers.
